How to communicate your perfect wedding cake idea
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and your wedding cake is a centerpiece of your celebration. With so many options and variations, creating the perfect wedding cake can be a daunting task. However, with clear communication, you can ensure that your dream cake becomes a reality.
Get Started
1. Share Your Vision and Theme
A simple screen shot of your pinterest board (like the image shown) is perfect.
2. Tell me about yourselves
Tying in the details will allow your guests to share a meaningful experience that's unique to your story.
3. The Reception Venue
The venue plays a significant role in the cake design process. I will match the style of the venue to your cake.
4. Tell me your budget
So that I can maximise the value of the budget you've set.
5. Stress-Free Planning
I will provide expert guidance, answer your questions, and offer professional advice every step of the way. So you can spend quality time with friends and family without worrying about the cake on the day.
By prioritising clear communication, I can create a wedding cake that reflects your personality, style, and tastes. The key is to be clear and concise about the idea. Keep it simple, and I can guide you along the way. It sounds like homework, so I've kept it simple to understand what you have in mind. But! I promise it's a feeling like no other the moment your vision is brought to life!

Wedding and Events FAQ
You can still get in touch and discuss your ideas. But once you've decided on the look and feel of the wedding, is it an excellent time to get in contact about the design; then, I will proceed. Let me know which stage you are at in planning, and I can work with you.
Whilst it's always best to book 9-12 months ahead, I recommend going with what you're most comfortable with. If you're happy with the design and the cake size but need to figure out your guest numbers, we base it on the maximum guest numbers. Then the month before the wedding, I would confirm if any changes need to make to the cake.
Yes, we can use your cake stand, knife and server. It can withstand at least 10kg in weight, is sturdy and has a flat top to allow for a more extensive cake base. If, on the day, I feel the cake stand supplied isn't sturdy enough to support the cake, I will place the cake on the table to ensure it can safely stand for a few hours on display.
If the cake is a single tier, I'm happy for someone to pick up the cake for you. Two-tier and taller cakes must be set up and delivered by myself and the team. It will allow for last-minute touch-ups on the cake if required.
There are a few factors to consider when it comes to choosing the size of your wedding cake- guest number, design and budget. I've written a wedding cake guide which you can read here.
