It can be tricky ordering cake online, but I am here to make it easier for you to celebrate your loved ones. Here are some common questions and general information to help you along your way.
Do you deliver, and how does it work?
Yes, I do! Our Set up and Delivery Rates are:
Zone A $30.00
Zone B $40.00
Outside of this radius up to 14km of Perth $55.00
Tall Cakes and Two Tiers, they must be delivered and set up by our team $75.00
For Three Tiers and above $100.00
Once your order has been placed, here's what's to come:
You will receive an SMS/Email:
-the day before to confirm the delivery
-an hour before the delivery time to ensure you are at home to receive it.
However, the cake cannot be dropped off in front of your door if no one is home due to food safety requirements.
A handover of cake cutting instructions and storage will be given to you on the day.
What are the pickup days and times?
Available pickup days are 7 days a week, From 2 pm-8 pm. Once the payment is processed, the address will be provided.
What's the best way to transport the cake?
If your car interior is hot, we would recommend turning the aircon on. The cake is best positioned at the passenger seat floor with a towel placed underneath to protect it. If you have a passenger, it's best for them to position the cake on their lap while you drive.
If there is any damage to the cake during transportation, one of our team members would be able to come and assist in repairing the cake, but the time will depend on our availability on the day.
How much time must I allow for when ordering a cake?
As I bake to order to provide you with the best quality, we will require two days' notice (cut off time is 12 pm). For example, if you order on Tuesday by 12 pm, the cake would be available to pick up or be delivered on Thursday From 12 pm onwards. The easiest way to find out is to select the date on the calendar, and it will show you when you can receive your cake.
As we only on a limited number of orders a week, to avoid disappointment, we would recommend that you book as early in advance as possible.
Can I make changes if I've already paid for my order?
Yes, you can. Changes to be made are required 7 days before the date of delivery/pickup. You will be required to confirm the price change before any requests are to be completed.
What if I need to reduce the size or cancel my order?
If you need to reduce the size, let us know 7 days in advance or else a cancellation fee will be applied.
Cancellations will be required 10 days before the delivery/pickup date and will be issued a refund. Any day less than this will only be issued a 50% refund.
How should I store my cake when I get it?
I would recommend storing it in the fridge and take it out in room temperature 30 minutes before serving. If you wish to display it in room temperature for up to 4 hours, we recommend that the cake be eaten and finished on the day.
As we make as close to the day of the delivery/pickup, the cake is best eaten within 3-5 days upon the arrival.
Which flavour do you recommend?
It depends! I often ask you what sort of flavours you or friend/loved one like first. Do you like creamy, nutty, fruity or adventurous? Then we would go from there. We love talking cake, so feel free to reach out if you would like us to direct you.
Do you hire out cake stands and cake servers?
Yes, I offer a range of cake stands and serves to suit your event theme. If you would like to hire one, it is $40 per cake stand inclusive with cake knife and server. A refundable bond of $50.00 is required prior to hiring and will be returned once the stand is returned and undamaged.
How do I pay?
Payment is to be made upon confirmation via bank transfer. Once the design and details are finalised, an invoice is emailed with the bank details.
You can also order and pay through the website with Apple Pay or with Master/ Visa card.
