FAQ

You can still get in touch and discuss your ideas. But once you've decided on the look and feel of the wedding, is it an excellent time to get in contact about the design; then, I will proceed. Let me know which stage you are at in planning, and I can work with you.

Whilst it's always best to book 9-12 months ahead, I recommend going with what you're most comfortable with. If you're happy with the design and the cake size but need to figure out your guest numbers, we base it on the maximum guest numbers. Then the month before the wedding, I would confirm if any changes need to make to the cake.

Yes, we can use your cake stand, knife and server. It can withstand at least 10kg in weight, is sturdy and has a flat top to allow for a more extensive cake base. If, on the day, I feel the cake stand supplied isn't sturdy enough to support the cake, I will place the cake on the table to ensure it can safely stand for a few hours on display.

If the cake is a single tier, I'm happy for someone to pick up the cake for you. Two-tier and taller cakes must be set up and delivered by myself and the team. It will allow for last-minute touch-ups on the cake if required.

There are a few factors to consider when it comes to choosing the size of your wedding cake- guest number, design and budget. I've written a wedding cake guide which you can read here.
